Why does diving need to be certified?
During your ocean holiday, you will have the opportunity to attempt diving with a diving instructor for an hour beneath the sea, with a maximum depth of 6 metres. It was not a dive course, but rather an opportunity to test diving. You are still not a qualified diver after the diving experience. A qualified diving certificate is an official certification and recognition that you have mastered the fundamental theoretical knowledge and diving skills, and it is a globally universal standard. You can easily visit many diving destinations across the world if you have a diving certificate. However, diving might be considered a high-risk sport. People who have been diving for a long time have almost certainly heard of someone who have died or been seriously injured while diving; this is not a rare occurrence. There are actually many diving-related courses and certificates. Basic requirements for diving certification
Most people can take the diving certificate. The requirements are very simple. OW needs to be at least 10 years old, AOW needs to be at least 12 years old, and can swim (there will be a swimming test, which is probably to allow you to swim back and forth in the pool), nothing Bad physical conditions (heart disease, etc.) are basically fine!
Cost required for diving certification
The course fee for OW courses in Malaysia is between RM1050-RM1800, and for AOW courses is between RM850-RM1250 (depending on the number of candidates and the teaching age of the instructor). In addition to the cost of the course, you also need to consider the cost of the equipment you need. And when you go diving in open water, you still need to book a hotel and travel expenses. So, a total of about RM2000 can be done.
